Coaching Teams to Get Big Ideas Done

The K-12 Purpose Summit combines virtual sessions before and after in-person conference, which rotates between Boulder, Colorado and other locations around the world. During the summit, we explore what purpose means for us as humans and as educators. We visit purpose-driven schools, and each team works with our suite Purpose Learning tools to further develop their idea. After the summit, our coaches work with each team until completion. 

The best part of the K-12 Purpose Summit is the intimate community: we limit the gathering to small group of purpose-driven educators. Connections are forged. Personal and professional breakthroughs happen. Big ideas come to life. Join us!

The Process
Clarify our own purpose 
We begin by clarifying our own purpose as teachers and creating a “Purpose Map” to help us navigate work and life with intention. Before we can coach students to discover purpose, we have to do the hard work ourselves. 
Explore the science of purpose
We explore the theory and science of purpose, and understand why purpose helps both adults and students learn deeper, manage stress better, and feel more alive.
Learn from education changemakers
We engage with changemakers and school leaders who are pushing the frontiers of purpose-driven learning. Learning in the past was about thinking. Learning of the future combines thinking, feeling, and doing, where students can explore their unique purpose. ​
Design and implement your ideas
Working in teams, we design new ideas at the summit and get participant feedback and community inspiration. A WLS coach will work with your team until you get it done.​
If you are in a time zone outside North America, or unable to attend a session for any reason, we will record the virtual sessions and your WLS coach will work with you to help you stay on track.
